Sagrada Familia Tour, Barcelona, 2016

On our 2016 cruise, we stopped at Barcelona. We had a guided, fast-track entry tour of Sagrada Familia, provided by Julia Travel (through Viator). This allowed us to skip the queues and we also had a trip up one of the towers included. Here is a short video that I took on a GoPro. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O0MDTI9I9IA&t=8s

Navigator of the Seas 5th August 2017 Facebook Group

Just a reminder that there is a Facebook group set up for the 5th August 2017 sailing on Navigator of the Seas at this link here https://www.facebook.com/groups/1734680230096488/ Happy sailing!

Navigator of the Seas leaving Southampton

Today, Navigator of the Seas returned to the UK for the summer. Here is a short, time-lapse video I shot of her leaving the dockside. As you can see, the weather was less than summer-like.

Cruise Critic (still) rules (again)!

Cruise Critic is great (really), but if you are sailing on Allure of the Seas on the 22nd October 2017 sailing around the Western Caribbean, why not visit this webpage and meet lots of your travelling companions. As with the Navigator of the Seas group, it's a bit quiet at the moment (as I've only just set it up). Give it time!

INDEPENDENCE OF THE SEAS IS BACK IN THE UK!

Image
I got up early this morning to travel to Southampton so I could watch Independence of the Seas return to the UK. Here are 2 timelapse videos I recorded. The first is from Town Quay, Southampton, the second from Mayflower Park, Southampton.

Independence of the Seas T-Shirts

In case you don't know, we've got a Facebook Group for the Independence of the Seas sailing on 30th July 2016. We're currently discussing getting T-shirts printed for our Pool Bar meetup. There are people on the Cruise Critic boards who aren't (yet) members of the Facebook Group. If you want to join up, then go here . It's a great community and you'd be very welcome :)

Anthem of the Seas

Image
I sailed on Royal Caribbean's Anthem of the Seas during the summer of 2015. Here are a few photographs that I took during that trip. This first photo is of the Royal Esplanade. It's taken from deck 5, looking towards Izumi. From left to right there is 'Shore Excursions' and then the 'Bionic Bar'. At the far end is Izumi above 'Michael's Genuine Pub'. On the right side, there is 'Wonderland' above 'Sorrentos', 'Cafe Promenade', 'The Shop', and 'Port Merchants'. Finally, far right, there is 'Next Cruise' and the exit to the outside.  This photo is of 'Two70' at the aft of the ship. This one was taken from deck 5.  This one is also of 'Two70', but looking back from the panoramic window (slightly to one side). Finally, this is the 'Pool Bar' and 'Sky Bar' on deck 14. :)
